The most beautiful mountains, meadows and trails in whole Trentino: Brenta Dolomites and Le Maddalene. What a mountain holiday! Not only hiking and biking or spending time at the italian lakes during your holiday… A vast expanse of pastures dotted with little hamlets, these are the upper valley - or Alta Valle - and Predaia. Apples are queen in the Quattro Ville d’Anaunia and the extraordinary natural landscape of the Brenta area. And in winter there’s beautiful hiking tours on snow shoes, the “ciaspolade”, typical for the Val di Non.

The Val di Non is the widest valley of Trentino. Set in the western heart of the region, it has plenty of forests, streams and apple orchards, that have made it well-renowned throughout Europe.
It is a vast sunny and green plateau crossed by rivers and streams that have carved the rocks for millennia, making it the “Valley of Canyons”, with a complex of gorges, waterfalls and caves.

The beating heart of the territory is Lake Santa Giustina, attracting the gaze of visitors with its imposing expanse of water and surrounding soft hills: on the north the Maddalene range offers enchanting pastures, while the Brenta Dolomites on the south-western part stand out with their rocky sides. The area is included in the Adamello Brenta Nature Park, home to the brown bear, the kingdom of exceptional plants and breath-taking Alpine landscapes, such as Lake Tovel, among the most romantic water expanses of Trentino.

Little hamlets are scattered across the whole territory; mainly of peasant origin, they are paired with quite a few scenic traces of the local history and culture, set among the forests and the apple orchards: the Shrine of Saint Romedius, to name one, is among the most evocative hermitages in Europe; Castel Thun – with its imposingly elegant outline - welcomes visitors to the Val di Non from the top of a hill.
